About this role
Join Discord's Notifications squad to build and optimize the notification platform that reaches millions of daily active users. You'll own end-to-end projects spanning client experiences, infrastructure, and ML integration while maintaining high quality standards and user satisfaction.
What you'll do
- Develop and enhance client-side notification experiences and user preference management
- Build platform infrastructure enabling company-wide teams to send effective notifications
- Collaborate with ML engineers to refine notification signals and quality metrics
- Monitor and maintain operational health and client performance of the notifications system
- Partner with Product and Design to balance user delight with delivery speed and impact
