About this role

DLH seeks a CANES subject matter expert to develop and maintain Navy training curriculum aligned with the latest fleet baseline. You'll translate system updates and operational requirements into practical courseware, lab exercises, and training materials that prepare sailors for shipboard network operations.

What you'll do

  • Review system updates and configuration changes to ensure curriculum alignment with current CANES fleet baseline
  • Develop and maintain CANES and C4I courseware, lesson plans, student guides, and practical lab exercises
  • Apply Instructional System Design methodology to define training requirements and learning objectives
  • Use Navy authoring tools such as CPM/LOM and AIM to develop and manage curriculum content
  • Ensure training materials reflect real-world system administration practices and fleet operational standards
  • Support pilot courses, fleet training events, and evaluate training effectiveness
