About this role
Support cloud security, architecture, and compliance for a federal healthcare platform (SCHARE) in Bethesda. Design and maintain secure cloud infrastructure, manage SSL certificates, coordinate Authorization-to-Operate (ATO) activities, implement technical controls, and remediate vulnerabilities across cloud storage, applications, and networking resources.
What you'll do
- Provision and configure cloud storage, application, and networking resources with security best practices
- Manage SSL certificate lifecycle and requests for cloud-based systems
- Collaborate with server, storage, network, and application development teams on design, testing, and troubleshooting
- Prepare technical artifacts and support ATO coordination with agency CIO organization
- Identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities and compliance gaps
- Draft technical design documents and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
