Kirkland, WAFrom $140kmidAdded yesterday

About this role

Echodyne seeks an Electrical Engineer II to design and verify analog and mixed-signal subsystems for advanced solid-state radar technology. You will collaborate across teams to develop robust radar architectures, manage designs from concept through manufacturing, and drive continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Design, verify, and transition analog/mixed-signal subsystems for radar systems to manufacturing
  • Lead cross-functional design reviews and technical discussions to develop radar architectures and resolve complex challenges
  • Provide circuit design expertise in simulation, analysis, and verification planning to guide execution and mitigate risk
  • Support board bring-up, acceptance testing, and design verification of PCBs from prototype to production
  • Conduct root-cause investigations and trade studies to enhance subsystem performance
  • Apply Design for Excellence (DFX) and Design for Manufacturability principles throughout product lifecycle

What they're looking for

  • Analog and mixed-signal circuit design and theory
  • SPICE simulation and Altium Designer (or equivalent CAD tools)
  • Circuit debugging and troubleshooting with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters)
  • PCB layout optimization, component selection, and thermal management
  • Low-speed signaling protocols (SPI, I2C)
  • Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, and Test (DFM/DFA/DFT)
  • Board bring-up and acceptance testing procedures
  • Analog building blocks (op-amps, power management, oscillators, voltage regulators)
