About this role

Eliyan is seeking a validation and characterization engineer to bring up and test silicon photonics chiplets for AI infrastructure. You'll characterize optical components, analog circuits, and high-speed interconnects while collaborating closely with design teams to drive product iterations.

What you'll do

  • Bring up silicon photonics devices and validate functionality across optical and electrical domains
  • Characterize optical modulators, lasers, photodiodes, and supporting analog circuits
  • Conduct high-speed electrical and optical measurements using industry test equipment
  • Develop and execute test protocols and measurement methodologies
  • Provide design feedback based on characterization data to inform next-generation silicon
  • Document results and translate findings into actionable insights for designers
