About this role

EOS IT Solutions seeks an AV Engineer to provide field support for audio-visual systems in high-impact venues and event spaces throughout Los Angeles. You'll handle rapid diagnosis and repair of complex AV issues, support event operations, execute preventative maintenance, and drive continuous improvements to service standards.

What you'll do

  • Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues in event spaces, including audio, video, control, routing, conferencing, and projection systems
  • Respond to escalated field incidents using onsite tools and remote access across Mac, Windows, Linux, and AV control systems
  • Conduct pre-event equipment sweeps and provide technical support before, during, and after priority events
  • Execute preventative maintenance on AV hardware, software, cabling, control systems, and room peripherals
  • Manage spare equipment inventory, track RMAs, and coordinate replacement parts logistics for rapid service restoration
  • Document incidents, identify trends in failures, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve systemic issues
