About this role
Join Postman's Identity and Access Management team to build secure, scalable authentication and authorization systems serving 45M+ developers. You'll work on OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML, and other IAM protocols while architecting solutions and collaborating across product, security, and engineering disciplines.
What you'll do
- Build and optimize authentication standards and protocols including OAuth2.0, OIDC, SCIM, and SAML
- Develop secure, reliable, and scalable IAM platform components
- Research and implement role engineering, session management, and standardized authentication/authorization solutions
- Design and build APIs and products collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Architect solutions and facilitate knowledge sharing on security best practices
- Develop internal tooling to support product maintenance and development

- Backend or distributed systems development (5+ years)
- JavaScript and Node.js
- React.js and web fundamentals
- Database design, query optimization, indexing, and caching
- Authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, OIDC)
