About this role
Fehr & Peers seeks entry-level transportation engineers and planners to join their Orange County office and build careers through diverse project exposure in planning, design, and analysis. You'll work on projects ranging from complete streets and transit planning to traffic operations and safety studies, with mentoring and structured growth opportunities throughout your first year.
What you'll do
- Conduct transportation analysis and prepare technical reports, memos, and deliverables
- Participate in project meetings and develop presentations and public outreach materials
- Support project coordination and management activities
- Conduct site visits and collect field data for transportation studies
- Prepare design drawings from conceptual through construction-ready stages
- Learn and apply technical software tools including GIS, CAD, and traffic modeling programs
