Experienced Transportation Engineer (Bay Area) (7-12 Years)

Fehr & Peers seeks an experienced Transportation or Civil Engineer with 7-12 years of experience to manage diverse projects from planning through design, mentor team members, and drive client relationships. You'll leverage technical expertise in traffic engineering, complete streets, and multimodal transportation while developing project management and business development skills in a collaborative environment.

What you'll do

• Manage transportation projects from conceptual planning through final design and PS&E preparation
• Lead traffic engineering design work including signals, bikeways, roundabouts, and temporary traffic control
• Scope and manage projects while delegating to team members and managing client relationships
• Mentor and teach other engineers as part of project execution
• Contribute to business development and new project opportunities
• Provide expertise in complete streets planning, operations, and multimodal assessments
