About this role

Field AI seeks a Field Application Engineer to serve as the primary technical contact for autonomous robotic system deployments across construction, security, and manufacturing sectors. You'll manage customer engagements, lead field implementation of quadrupeds and humanoid robots, troubleshoot complex systems, and bridge technical teams with customer needs in dynamic environments.

What you'll do

  • Serve as primary technical point of contact for customers during deployment, testing, and operational phases
  • Develop deployment plans, timelines, and technical implementation strategies for autonomous robotic systems
  • Deploy and supervise advanced robotic systems in customer field environments
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, autonomy, networking, and systems integration issues in live operational settings
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and customer organizations to ensure project success
  • Evaluate field performance data and communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to engineering teams
