About this role
Firecrawl is seeking a Product Engineer to build the Exchange, a system enabling web publishers to monetize their data through permissioned API access. You'll own the end-to-end technical implementation of data partnerships—from ingestion and routing to metering and billing—working in a fast-moving startup at the intersection of web infrastructure and AI.
What you'll do
- Take signed data partnerships live in production, building provider catalog and API routing systems
- Own metering and billing infrastructure to track and monetize partner usage
- Implement access controls and permission enforcement for licensed data sources
- Work with Head of Data Partnerships to assess technical feasibility before deal closure
- Design and build connectors that reduce friction for successive integrations
- Maintain and optimize the technical surface of the Exchange platform
