Analytics Engineer
About this role
Lead FiscalNote's analytics and business intelligence function as a hands-on director who builds data models and dashboards while mentoring a small team. You'll partner with leadership across sales, finance, and customer success to drive data-driven decision-making and operational improvements.
What you'll do
- Design and build data models, pipelines, and dashboards that enable company-wide decision-making
- Lead a small analytics team while actively contributing technical work yourself
- Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to identify KPIs and surface actionable insights
- Maintain enterprise analytics infrastructure and reporting systems using Snowflake and dbt
- Proactively identify data gaps and build solutions without waiting for formal requirements
- Present analytics and insights to executive leadership and board-level stakeholders
