About this role
Fivetran seeks an experienced Sales Engineer to support Enterprise sales by translating complex customer data needs into technical solutions. You'll guide proof-of-value processes, deliver technical presentations, and bridge customer requirements with product capabilities across cloud data platforms.
What you'll do
- Understand Enterprise customers' business requirements and data replication use cases
- Design and present technical solutions to senior stakeholders
- Execute and manage proof-of-value projects to validate fit
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on customer needs alignment
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with Enterprise accounts
- Monitor industry trends and emerging data technologies

- 7+ years data replication or sales engineering experience
- Database replication and cloud infrastructure expertise
- Cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks)
- AWS, GCP, Azure platform knowledge
- Data tools (Kafka, Iceberg, data catalogs, BI platforms)
- Technical presentation and communication skills
- Python and/or Java programming
- Enterprise sales cycle management
