About this role

Fivetran seeks an experienced Sales Engineer to support Enterprise sales by translating complex customer data needs into technical solutions. You'll guide proof-of-value processes, deliver technical presentations, and bridge customer requirements with product capabilities across cloud data platforms.

What you'll do

  • Understand Enterprise customers' business requirements and data replication use cases
  • Design and present technical solutions to senior stakeholders
  • Execute and manage proof-of-value projects to validate fit
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on customer needs alignment
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with Enterprise accounts
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging data technologies

  • 7+ years data replication or sales engineering experience
  • Database replication and cloud infrastructure expertise
  • Cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks)
  • AWS, GCP, Azure platform knowledge
  • Data tools (Kafka, Iceberg, data catalogs, BI platforms)
  • Technical presentation and communication skills
  • Python and/or Java programming
  • Enterprise sales cycle management
