About this role
Fivetran is seeking an Enterprise Sales Engineer to bridge technical and sales functions, helping complex Enterprise customers understand how Fivetran's data replication platform solves their business challenges. You'll lead proof-of-value engagements, deliver technical presentations, and collaborate across product and engineering teams to ensure customer success.
What you'll do
- Understand Enterprise customer business needs and data replication requirements through discovery conversations
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to C-suite and technical audiences
- Execute and oversee proof-of-value processes to demonstrate technical fit and drive deals forward
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to align solutions with Enterprise customer needs
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key Enterprise customers and partners
- Stay current on data infrastructure trends, cloud platforms, and modern data stack technologies
What they're looking for
- 7+ years of data replication, sales engineering, or technical field experience
- Database replication and cloud infrastructure expertise
- Knowledge of cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks) and data lakes
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, Kafka, Python, and Java
- Strong presentation and communication skills for executive audiences
- Understanding of modern data analytics tools and data catalogs
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
- Proof-of-value and sales cycle management experience
