About this role

Flock seeks a Software Engineer II to bridge product engineering with customer deployments, managing end-to-end technical integrations for municipal and enterprise clients. You'll write integration code, diagnose complex system issues, and travel 25–50% to drive implementation success while partnering with internal teams to improve core products.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical discovery and manage customer software integrations from scoping through deployment
  • Configure, test, and maintain integrations connecting Flock technology with customer applications and networks
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues involving APIs, networking, authentication, and data formats
  • Create technical documentation and implementation guides to standardize customer onboarding
  • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to translate field insights into product improvements
  • Travel regionally 25–50% for customer deployments and onsite technical work
