Flow Traders is building a talent pool for a Trading Systems Engineer to serve as a US-based expert on their GCP/GKE platform. You'll bridge on-premises and cloud infrastructure, drive automation improvements, and provide senior technical leadership across Linux, Kubernetes, and trading systems that demand ultra-low-latency performance.

What you'll do

  • Act as US subject matter expert for GCP and GKE workloads, improving Terraform-driven infrastructure and cloud architecture
  • Identify and implement engineering improvements to reduce operational toil and enhance platform reliability
  • Manage Linux and Kubernetes environments across bare-metal, virtualized, and cloud-native systems using automation and Infrastructure as Code
  • Strengthen monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms to support time-sensitive trading workloads
  • Serve as senior escalation point for complex infrastructure issues and participate in on-call incident resolution
  • Provide regional technical leadership and collaborate globally on platform standards and large-scale initiatives
