About this role
Fluidstack seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and optimize data center electrical distribution systems, from medium voltage through rack-level delivery. You'll develop reference designs, run critical studies using industry tools, specify major equipment, and support field implementations for large-scale AI compute infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Design electrical distribution systems for data centers, covering medium voltage through busway to rack level
- Conduct load flow, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies using ETAP or SKM
- Specify and evaluate major equipment including switchgear, transformers, UPS, and busway packages
- Create accurate, buildable single-line diagrams and reference designs
- Provide same-day field support and engineering for as-built configuration changes
- Support energization and commissioning of electrical systems on deployed designs
