Electrical Engineer, Capacity Delivery
Austin, TX$157k–$208kfulltimemidAdded today
About this role
Fluidstack is seeking an Electrical Engineer to drive rapid deployment of gigawatt-scale data center infrastructure for AI compute. You'll own electrical engineering execution across multiple concurrent sites, from design review through energization, ensuring projects move from concept to operation in months rather than years.
What you'll do
- Own electrical engineering across assigned sites including design review, field support, and energization readiness verification
- Review electrical packages against reference designs including one-lines, schedules, and power studies
- Respond to field electrical RFIs quickly and escalate recurring issues into standard designs
- Support energization activities including torque verification, insulation testing, and pre-energization checklists
- Drive continuous improvement by feeding lessons from each build into the evolving reference design
- Coordinate with field teams to catch and resolve problems on paper rather than in the field
What they're looking for
- Electrical engineering for data centers or industrial distribution systems
- One-line diagram, panel schedule, and power study interpretation
- Field electrical support and energization sequence experience
- Pre-energization documentation and compliance rigor
- Power systems analysis (SKM or ETAP preferred)
- NFPA 70E electrical safety standards
- Medium voltage (MV) systems design and coordination
- Project execution in fast-paced, high-velocity environments
