About this role
Fluidstack seeks a Network Engineer to deploy and integrate large-scale AI data center infrastructure, working hands-on to configure network equipment, validate optical connectivity, and coordinate rapid site turn-ups across multiple locations.
What you'll do
- Deploy and validate data center network infrastructure including switches, optics, and management systems
- Ensure physical connectivity meets production standards through fiber remediation, insertion loss validation, and OTDR testing
- Manage hardware logistics including staging, inventory, RMA coordination, and DCIM updates
- Partner with cross-functional teams (DC Operations, ICT, Hardware, Network Engineering) to identify and resolve blockers
- Maintain documentation including cutsheets, as-builts, validation results, and deployment playbooks
- Provide operational support including incident response and troubleshooting during and after deployments
