About this role
Fluidstack seeks a Physical Security Engineer to design and deploy comprehensive security systems for large-scale AI data center infrastructure. You'll own the full lifecycle from reference design through field integration, producing detailed specifications and supporting real-world deployment across access control, video, intrusion detection, and perimeter protection.
What you'll do
- Design physical security systems including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and perimeter security
- Create buildable design packages with riser diagrams, device layouts, schedules, and technical specifications
- Configure and test access control and video management system platforms
- Coordinate security design integration with electrical and IT infrastructure teams
- Support on-site deployment including surveys, commissioning walks, and acceptance testing
- Lead punch-list closure and validate security system performance in production
