About this role

Join Formlabs' R&D team to develop next-generation 3D printing technologies and processes. You'll conduct experiments, design test fixtures, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to innovate printer architectures and materials that power fabrication for industry leaders worldwide.

What you'll do

  • Design and validate new 3D printing techniques including printer architectures and control systems
  • Conduct experiments and analyze data to inform hardware and software improvements
  • Build test fixtures and apparatus for experimental validation
  • Evaluate current printer performance and identify optimization opportunities
  • Partner with mechanical, systems, and software engineering teams to implement improvements
  • Investigate emerging technologies and contribute to next-generation product development
