About this role

Formlabs seeks a Robotic Systems Integration Engineer to bridge firmware and hardware subsystems for 3D printing products used in dental and other applications. You'll shepherd prototypes from R&D through production, manage cross-functional requirements, and validate system performance through rigorous testing.

What you'll do

  • Integrate firmware and hardware subsystems into cohesive systems and deliver working prototypes
  • Create and maintain system architecture documentation including subsystem interfaces and data flows
  • Define control algorithms and design electro-mechanical subsystems as needed
  • Own subsystem and system-level requirements management and change tracking
  • Design, execute, and analyze test plans to validate subsystem and system requirements
  • Diagnose and resolve system-level issues, recommending corrective actions to functional teams
