About this role

Istari seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed within aerospace and defense customer organizations, writing production code and architecting integrations that connect complex engineering workflows to the platform. You'll operate as part of the customer's technical team while staying connected to Istari's core engineering, solving hard problems at the intersection of digital engineering and mission-critical operations.

What you'll do

  • Write production code and architect integrations connecting CAD, CFD, FEM pipelines to Istari's platform
  • Embed directly within customer organizations and operate as part of their engineering team
  • Solve complex technical problems arising from real-world deployment in aerospace and defense environments
  • Collaborate with Program Managers to translate stakeholder needs into technical execution
  • Enable customers to effectively adopt and utilize invested tools and systems
  • Provide feedback loop between customers and Istari's product and engineering teams
