About this role

Freedom Technology Solutions Group seeks an Applications Developer/Software Engineer to join their Virginia team, responsible for designing and delivering cloud-native applications using modern development practices, cloud infrastructure, full-stack web technologies, and enterprise data solutions.

What you'll do

  • Lead Agile teams through sprint planning, backlog management, and daily standups using Jira and Confluence
  • Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Develop full-stack web applications using front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and backend services (Java, Python, Node.js)
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, Terraform, and Ansible for continuous deployment
  • Design RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures with high availability and fault tolerance
  • Develop ETL pipelines and manage relational/NoSQL databases while ensuring data quality and accessibility compliance
