Freedom Technology Solutions Group seeks a Cyber Security Project Engineer in Herndon, VA to conduct penetration testing and ethical hacking assessments for enterprise clients. The role involves designing test procedures, executing hands-on security testing, analyzing vulnerabilities, and documenting findings to support strategic security decision-making.

What you'll do

• Design, document, and execute penetration testing plans and procedures against enterprise systems
• Perform hands-on penetration testing using adversarial tactics and system exploitation techniques
• Analyze identified vulnerabilities and test results to develop risk mitigation recommendations
• Review program-level documentation including requirements, architecture, and security plans
• Lead or participate in technical exchange meetings and application review boards with stakeholders
• Brief management on action items, test results, and security posture findings
