About this role

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is hiring a DevOps Engineer to automate infrastructure, security, and operational tasks for mission-critical systems supporting government and commercial customers. You'll design automation solutions, manage system deployments, and maintain complex platforms in a collaborative environment focused on innovative technologies.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain automation for Windows/Linux server and workstation installations, configurations, and software updates
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and automate routine maintenance including patches and security fixes
  • Automate network services management (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory) and implement backup/disaster recovery strategies
  • Design and automate security implementations including firewalls, endpoint protection, and access controls
  • Optimize system performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing efficiency improvements
  • Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and new deployments while documenting configurations and procedures
