About this role

Freedom Technology Solutions Group seeks a Full Stack Software Engineer to build cloud-native applications for geospatial intelligence platforms. You'll develop responsive web interfaces, RESTful APIs, and microservices while managing the complete technology stack from frontend to cloud infrastructure, supporting mission-critical systems for analysts and intelligence partners.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop modern web applications with responsive user interfaces
  • Build RESTful APIs and scalable backend services using cloud-native microservices
  • Integrate geospatial services and enterprise APIs with core systems
  • Create automated testing pipelines and support CI/CD deployments
  • Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and stakeholders to gather requirements and document integration patterns
  • Troubleshoot production systems and optimize application performance

  • React or Angular with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • AWS services (S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, KMS)
  • Backend systems: PostgreSQL/PostGIS, Oracle, Redis, GDAL/OGR
  • Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
  • CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • RESTful API design and microservices architecture
  • Data mapping and file-based transfer concepts
  • Linux and secure data handling practices
