About this role

General Matter seeks a Nuclear Safety Programs Engineer to establish and oversee management measures programs at a uranium enrichment facility. You'll develop systems spanning configuration management, maintenance, training, quality assurance, and corrective action to ensure safe, reliable operations under NRC 10 CFR Part 70 regulations.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement facility management measures programs required under 10 CFR Part 70, including configuration management, maintenance, training, procedures, quality assurance, audits, and corrective action
  • Establish and maintain configuration management program to preserve design basis, safety basis, and controlled documentation
  • Define and oversee maintenance, functional testing, calibration, and surveillance programs for safety-related and mission-critical equipment
  • Develop procedures, training, and qualification requirements across operations and safety functions
  • Establish and administer quality assurance program consistent with ASME NQA-1 standards
  • Conduct audits, assessments, and corrective action investigations to verify program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
