About this role

Join Glydways' Developer Platform team to build safety-critical tooling for SIL-4 autonomous transit systems. You'll design certification automation, maintain build infrastructure, and develop web-based tools that ensure compliance with railway safety standards while supporting the entire engineering organization.

What you'll do

  • Design and build tooling to classify, review, and certify SIL-4 safety-critical code with provable sign-off mechanisms
  • Develop web-based applications and reports displaying safety posture to engineers and auditors
  • Maintain and improve the Bazel build system for speed, reliability, and developer experience
  • Enhance CI/CD workflows including build, lint, code coverage, and testing across C++, Python, and Go
  • Integrate static analysis and coding-standard enforcement tools into continuous integration pipelines
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support and maintain shared developer infrastructure

  • Certification evidence requirements (traceability, tool qualification, audit trails)
