About this role

Hadrian seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the design and deployment of highly automated work cells and manufacturing systems for aerospace and defense production. You'll bridge design, production, and robotics teams to develop scalable, first-generation automation capabilities while applying DFM principles to optimize manufacturability and cost.

What you'll do

  • Lead design and development of first-generation manufacturing systems and automation tools from concept through deployment
  • Collaborate across design, production, supply chain, controls, software, and robotics teams to implement process improvements
  • Provide early manufacturability feedback to design engineering teams and support iterative product development
  • Apply DFM principles to ensure production ease, cost efficiency, and scalability
  • Analyze and troubleshoot equipment to optimize uptime, output quality, and process efficiency
  • Identify and deploy automation opportunities using internal capabilities or external partnerships with ROI analysis
