About this role
Hadrian seeks a Process Qualification Engineer to own quality and qualification for additive manufacturing, developing first article inspection plans, control strategies, and NDE methods to scale additive production for aerospace and defense. You'll lead qualification initiatives, drive root cause analysis, and partner cross-functionally to integrate additive manufacturing into the company's quality system.
What you'll do
- Own and execute first article inspection plans, qualification validation, and implementation for additive hardware
- Define control plans and ensure specification compliance across powder, build, and post-processing steps
- Lead NDE strategy for additive processes, developing and validating inspection methods and techniques
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for additive builds and hardware issues
- Partner with quality teams to define inspection plans, acceptance criteria, and sampling strategies with measurement system analysis
- Manage vendor relationships for powder supply, post-processing, coatings, and inspection services
