About this role
Handshake is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to embed directly with enterprise customers, building and deploying production-grade AI agents that solve real business problems. You'll own the full technical stack—from solution design through evaluation and iteration—while becoming a domain expert in your customer's industry and feeding insights back to the platform team.
What you'll do
- Embed with enterprise customers to understand their business workflows and identify AI-driven opportunities
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI agents tailored to specific customer use cases
- Create evaluation frameworks and systematically measure and improve agent performance
- Establish engineering best practices and reusable agent patterns to scale team output
- Collaborate with Product and Platform engineers to ship reliable, cohesive solutions
- Translate deployment insights into recommendations for the platform and product roadmap
