About this role
Handshake seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to design and manage the infrastructure layer for enterprise AI application deployments. You'll work directly with customer IT and security teams to build scalable, secure deployment patterns across VPC, on-prem, and self-hosted environments.
What you'll do
- Own infrastructure and deployment layer for AI applications in enterprise customer environments
- Design VPC, on-prem, and self-hosted deployment patterns aligned with enterprise security requirements
- Collaborate with customer IT and security teams on compliance, data residency, and access control
- Build automation tooling to make deployments repeatable and reliable across customers
- Work closely with Product and Applied AI engineers on deployment initiatives
- Identify systemic infrastructure gaps and lead initiatives to reduce deployment friction
