About this role
Harmattan AI, a $1.4B defense technology company, seeks a SOCOM Business Developer to drive growth within U.S. Special Operations Command. You'll own the full sales cycle from operator engagement through contract closure, managing pipeline development, conducting system demonstrations, and building relationships across SOF units and acquisition stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Identify and pursue opportunities across SOF units, TSOCs, and SOCOM components
- Own full sales cycle from initial operator contact through contract closure
- Build and manage qualified opportunity pipeline
- Conduct system demos and operational evaluations with field units
- Convert evaluations into OTAs and funded defense programs
- Represent company at industry events and translate field feedback into product insights

- SOCOM/SOF ecosystem knowledge and relationships
- Defense technology understanding (UAS, C-UAS, autonomy, sensors)
