About this role
Higharc is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build a new Materials & Purchasing vertical that connects home design to real-world product catalogs, pricing, and procurement. You'll own full-stack features end-to-end, design rule engines for inventory and constraints, and work closely with cross-functional teams on a founding role with significant ownership.
What you'll do
- Build full-stack features spanning UI, APIs, business logic, and data models for the Materials & Purchasing platform
- Design and implement rule engines managing pricing, inventory, availability, and product selection constraints
- Enrich the home data model to link design decisions to purchasable products in the real world
- Architect extensible systems that scale as the vertical grows and evolve with product needs
- Optimize backend performance through query tuning, N+1 resolution, indexing, and scaling strategies
- Build search, filtering, and querying systems for large product catalog datasets
