Supply Chain Engineer
About this role
Human Computer Lab seeks a hands-on supply chain engineer to build and scale the sourcing, procurement, and manufacturing operations for LeLamp, an innovative consumer robot. You'll own component sourcing, BOM cost management, supplier relationships, and design-for-manufacturability collaboration as the company transitions from prototype to production.
What you'll do
- Source, qualify, and manage suppliers, distributors, and contract manufacturers for components and assemblies
- Own BOM cost, lead-time, and availability tracking across mechanical and electrical subsystems
- Partner with engineering teams on design-for-manufacturability and design-for-assembly reviews
- Manage procurement, purchase orders, and inventory balancing cost, lead time, and risk
- Identify and mitigate component obsolescence and single-source supply risks
- Coordinate with domestic and overseas manufacturing partners on quoting, tooling, and production timelines
