About this role
Hunter Douglas seeks a Quality Engineer to lead quality control operations, implementing systems and processes to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards. You'll oversee inspections across production stages, manage quality teams, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain quality management systems, policies, and procedures aligned with customer and regulatory requirements
- Implement quality tools such as SPC and FMEA to identify and prevent production defects
- Oversee inspection of raw materials, manufacturing processes, and finished products
- Manage non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
- Lead cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement
- Direct and develop quality professional team members with guidance and performance feedback

- Statistical Process Control (SPC) and FMEA
- Six Sigma or ASQ certification
- SAP system proficiency
