About this role
Hunter Douglas seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to lead quality control operations at their Salt Lake City facility. You'll develop and maintain quality management systems, implement process improvements using tools like SPC and FMEA, oversee inspections across all production stages, and direct a team of quality professionals while ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain quality management systems, policies, and procedures aligned with customer and regulatory requirements
- Implement quality tools such as SPC and FMEA to identify and prevent manufacturing defects
- Oversee quality control activities including raw material, in-process, and finished product inspections
- Manage non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and resolve recurring quality issues
- Direct and develop a quality team, providing training and performance feedback
