About this role
Iambic Therapeutics seeks a Data Engineer to build and maintain production pipelines for structural biology data (PDB, .cif files) that power NeuralPLexer AI models. You'll integrate experimental and synthetic molecular data from diverse sources, collaborate with ML scientists, and establish maintainable infrastructure for drug discovery workflows.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain data pipelines for parsing, validating, and transforming structural biology files (.cif, PDB formats)
- Integrate data from multiple public and proprietary sources into robust, reusable workflows
- Collaborate with ML scientists to ensure data meets model training requirements
- Implement secure storage and retrieval systems for experimental and synthetic structural data
- Perform code reviews and enforce software engineering best practices across the team
- Communicate technical implementations across cross-functional research and engineering teams

- Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes) or HPC systems (preferred)

- Protein structure prediction auxiliary data (preferred)
- Cross-functional communication in research environments
