About this role

iCapital seeks an experienced Software Developer in Test (SDET) to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for their platform. You'll combine hands-on development expertise with testing knowledge to enhance automation suites, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with development and product teams.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain robust automated test suites across functional, API, and performance testing
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Maven, and JIRA
  • Design and enhance automation frameworks to support system changes and new features
  • Execute and manage defect workflows with automated test execution and reporting
  • Create meaningful metrics and dashboards to track automation coverage and test execution
  • Perform functional, API, performance, and load testing on Java microservices and React applications

  • Java programming with BDD/TDD and design patterns
  • Automation frameworks (Playwright, Protractor, JUnit)
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven, Git, Docker, Sonar)
  • REST APIs and microservices testing
  • Performance testing tools (JMeter or similar)
  • Agile and SDLC methodologies
  • JavaScript and IntelliJ/Eclipse IDEs
  • Banking/finance domain knowledge
