Backend / Integration Engineer
About this role
Innodata seeks a Backend/Integration Engineer to build the connective infrastructure for a secure federal data platform. You'll develop REST API integrations with Databricks, ServiceNow, and synthetic data generation tools, managing async job pipelines and data governance within a federal IL4 environment over a 20-week engagement.
What you'll do
- Implement Databricks REST API write-back for labeled outputs and synthetic content
- Build Duality backend integration with async job lifecycle management and retry logic
- Develop ServiceNow REST integration for intake routing
- Create and maintain storefront backend services and API layer
- Design async job queue management across all integration surfaces
- Structure output metadata for DataCard provenance records per DoD requirements
