About this role
Join Inversion's Accurate Landing Team as a Test Engineer II to design and execute ground and aerial drop tests for advanced reentry systems. You'll own test equipment development, procedures, and analyses while coordinating flight test logistics for spacecraft designed to deliver payloads globally in under an hour.
What you'll do
- Conduct ground and aerial drop testing of landing and recovery systems
- Develop test equipment, procedures, reports, and data analyses
- Lead flight test day logistics and payload recovery operations
- Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers on test activities
- Contribute to vehicle architecture and design challenge solutions during early development stages
- Support the Accurate Landing Team reporting to the Director of Engineering
