About this role
Ivalua is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to join its Platform Engineering team in Pittsburgh, supporting cloud infrastructure across multiple time zones. You'll manage containerized workloads, monitor system health, execute automation workflows, and maintain operational excellence through continuous 24/7 infrastructure support.
What you'll do
- Execute infrastructure automation workflows and validate pre-defined automation jobs
- Manage containerized workloads including deployments, restarts, scaling, and troubleshooting
- Monitor infrastructure health, respond to real-time alerts, and resolve incidents to ensure uptime
- Perform VM lifecycle management (provisioning, resizing, decommissioning) and patch management
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and ensure clean shift handoffs between coverage windows
- Support vulnerability remediation, backup validation, and restore operations
