K Group Companies seeks a Junior AI Automation Engineer to design and build automation workflows, AI-assisted integrations, and internal tools using platforms like n8n and APIs. This hands-on role involves connecting disparate business systems, delivering client solutions, and scaling the AI & Automation practice in a collaborative, onsite environment in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

What you'll do

  • Design and build automation workflows using n8n, APIs, and webhooks across business platforms like CRMs, ticketing systems, and ERPs
  • Develop AI-assisted pipelines for document processing, classification, notification routing, and data transformation
  • Support client delivery engagements through discovery sessions, requirements translation, and outcome documentation
  • Create reusable workflow templates, delivery frameworks, and runbooks to scale the practice
  • Build lightweight dashboards and front-end tools to surface automation outputs to non-technical users
  • Document workflows, integration maps, and configurations to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer

  • JSON and REST API fundamentals
  • Linux command-line proficiency
  • Python or JavaScript scripting
