About this role
Lambda seeks a Hardware Quality Engineer to manage quality assurance across our AI cloud infrastructure. You'll oversee failure tracking, root cause analysis, and corrective actions in our data centers, working across operations, hardware, and vendor teams to maintain system reliability and uptime.
What you'll do
- Track, log, and manage quality issues in data center deployment and production environments
- Perform root cause analysis for hardware, software, and process failures
- Analyze production metrics and quality data to detect trends and weak points
- Design, monitor, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, hardware, engineering, and vendors to resolve issues
- Define, track, and report quality KPIs and SLAs to leadership

- Root cause analysis methods (5 Whys, fishbone, 8D, A3)
- Data analysis and statistical analysis
- Quality management systems (QMS) and defect tracking tools
- Cross-team communication and stakeholder management
- RMA process optimization
- Vendor quality and incoming inspection
- Python or SQL scripting (preferred)
