About this role
LG Electronics seeks a Design Release Engineer Assistant to support product releases for vehicle programs. You'll assist with work order tracking, onsite data logging, software/hardware updates, and serve as a supplier resident at customer facilities across multiple locations in the Troy, MI area.
What you'll do
- Assist Design Release Engineers with tracking work orders and product release activities for vehicle program teams
- Perform onsite product data logging on test benches and in vehicles
- Support software and hardware updates and retrofit requests on customer equipment
- Serve as resident supplier at customer facilities, managing tasks across multiple locations
- Transport and handle testing equipment weighing up to 10 kg
- Coordinate with customer teams and document release activities
