About this role

LG Magna e-Powertrain seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead quality and warranty operations for electric vehicle components (inverters, converters, motors). You'll manage returned parts analysis, root cause investigations, repair validation, and coordinate with customers and international teams to resolve quality issues.

What you'll do

  • Manage warranty center operations including receiving, analyzing, and repairing returned e-PT components
  • Perform failure analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigation on defective parts
  • Maintain and operate test equipment including EOL, charger/discharger, and leak testers
  • Lead APQP activities and coordinate PPAP documentation (PFD, PCP, PFMEA) for customer approval
  • Prepare technical reports and quality status updates using PRTS, 5 Phase, GQTS, and 8D methodologies
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams (local and overseas) regarding quality concerns and containment activities
