Software Engineer: Infrastructure (Early Career)
About this role
Lightfield seeks an early-career infrastructure engineer to design and build the backend systems powering an AI-native CRM platform. You'll own full-stack projects from architecture through deployment, working with modern web technologies and LLM-driven data pipelines in a fast-moving startup environment.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain full-stack systems ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance across the platform
- Architect and scale data infrastructure and backend services supporting AI-driven CRM features
- Design and optimize data models to handle CRM workflows, customer interactions, and AI-powered insights
- Develop observability systems, metrics, and monitoring to enable proactive issue detection
- Take ownership of projects from inception through impact, collaborating cross-functionally
- Drive technical decisions and articulate trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
