About this role

Lightfield seeks an early-career infrastructure engineer to design and build the backend systems powering an AI-native CRM platform. You'll own full-stack projects from architecture through deployment, working with modern web technologies and LLM-driven data pipelines in a fast-moving startup environment.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain full-stack systems ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance across the platform
  • Architect and scale data infrastructure and backend services supporting AI-driven CRM features
  • Design and optimize data models to handle CRM workflows, customer interactions, and AI-powered insights
  • Develop observability systems, metrics, and monitoring to enable proactive issue detection
  • Take ownership of projects from inception through impact, collaborating cross-functionally
  • Drive technical decisions and articulate trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
