About this role
Loft seeks an Attitude Guidance & Performance Engineer to lead spacecraft attitude control and guidance system development across their growing satellite fleet. You'll establish technical standards for ADCS performance, design guidance algorithms, and support on-orbit operations while collaborating with mission teams and spacecraft suppliers.
What you'll do
- Serve as technical authority for ADCS performance and attitude control across Loft missions
- Develop and validate guidance algorithms for multiple spacecraft platforms
- Define performance requirements and specifications with mission teams and customers
- Support in-orbit operations and troubleshoot complex attitude control issues
- Design a common guidance service interface compatible with diverse spacecraft
- Collaborate with spacecraft suppliers on attitude control implementations
