Energy & Infrastructure Counsel
About this role
SpaceXAI seeks an experienced Energy & Infrastructure Counsel to lead negotiation and structuring of major infrastructure deals, power contracts, and construction agreements supporting hyperscale data center deployments. You'll work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, flat organization to balance legal, business, and engineering priorities on multi-billion-dollar projects.
What you'll do
- Lead negotiation and structuring of development deals, real estate transactions, equipment purchases, and procurement agreements
- Negotiate and manage power contracts including interconnection agreements, PPAs, gas supply, water rights, and regulatory matters for data center deployments
- Draft and review construction contracts, engineering services agreements, and project documents for advanced facility infrastructure
- Support financing structures, tax incentives, lease arrangements, permitting, easements, and project finance for large-scale investments
- Partner with engineering, security, procurement, business development, and finance teams to align legal terms with technical requirements
- Coordinate with outside counsel on complex matters while maintaining strategic oversight and risk management
